Our 41,500 sq. ft. building houses the production plant, engineering staff and support staff offices.

Engineering: Our engineering staff is highly experienced in designing clutches and brakes for all uses and requirements. A combination of computer technology and wide industry experience allows us to analyze your unique needs and design products specifically for your application.

Production: Our production facility is located in the same building as the engineering department, allowing for turnkey design and production. Production employees are highly skilled and receive continuing up-to-date technical  training. The result is a high quality product at a competitive price.

Sales and Support Staff: After the initial consultation with the sales and engineering departments, orders are processed and systematically tracked from the design phase, through production and strict quality control, and then through shipment. If you require special testing and inspection, and/or special shipping needs, our staff can arrange to meet your specific requirements.

   Location and Directions:

Our 41,500 sq. ft. building houses the production plant, engineering staff and support staff offices. Our facilities are at 291 Boston Turnpike, Bolton CT 06043, conveniently located approximately half-way between Boston and New York City.

Hours of Operation are 8am to 5pm Eastern Time.
Monday - Friday.

From New York City and Hartford:
Follow I-91 North to Hartford. Take exit 29 (the Charter Oak Bridge), follow to I-84 East.Take I-84 East to I-384. Stay on I-384 to exit 5 (Rout 85). Go left at the end of the ramp to Route 85 North. After crossing over the highway take the first right on Williams Road. Williams Road is directly across from the freeway entrance ramp. At the end of Williams Road, turn right on Route 44. Follow route 44 for about 1/4 mile and take first street on the right, Morancey Drive. The Carlyle Johnson Machine Company is located at the end of this road.

From Boston:
Follow I-84 West to exit 67 (Route 31).  Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp to Route 31 South.  Proceed for about 5 miles until you reach a stop light and junction with Route 44. Go right on Route  44 West and proceed  on I-384 West. (Route. 44 will become I-384). Stay in the far right-hand lane and immediately exit on Route 6 & 44 West.  Move to the left lane.  After 100 yards turn left (signs will be marked Route 6 & 44 East). At the stop sign, proceed straight across on Morancey drive. The Carlyle Johnson Machine Company is located at the end of the road.

From Bradley International Airport:(arriving Hartford - Springfield)
Follow the airport exit road (Route 20)around the airport and head east to I-91 South. Follow I-91 South to exit 35A (I-291 South). Follow I-291 South to the end and follow signs to I-384 East. Stay on I-384 to exit 5 (Route 85). Go left a the end of the ramp on Route  85 North.  After crossing over the highway take the first right on Williams Road. Williams Road is directly across from the entrance ramp.  At the end of Williams Road, turn right on Route 44.  Follow Route 44A for about 1/4 mile and take the first street on the right, Morancey drive. The Carlyle Johnson Machine Company is located at the end of this road.
